Qiu Ying (c. 1494-1552) was a renowned painter of the Ming Dynasty, hailing from Taicang, Jiangsu. He was one of the "Four Masters of the Ming Dynasty." Qiu Ying's artworks are celebrated for their meticulous brushwork and vibrant colors, excelling in figure painting, landscapes, and flowers and birds. His fan paintings are highly esteemed for their exquisite technique and expressive richness.
